Joining the academy and learning to play has been so much fun. Smashing ‘community’ feel, really friendly and supportive. Seeing progress in myself which is great. No matter how awful my playing sounds, it just makes me smile such a diversion from the stresses of life. I pick up my uke and everything feels wonderful and tensions just lift. I joined after the death of my father - it’s simply been my salvation. Many of the songs have been ones he loved and this in itself has helped me with my grief. I can’t thank you enough.

Great teacher, if anyone can teach me how to play the Uke they deserve a special mention as I was told as a child that I could not be taught guitar due to being left handed. Matt has totally knocked that theory out of the park by teaching me how to play as a right handed player. I never believed I would ever play an instrument but am now loving playing my Uke and champing at the bit for more lessons. Thankyou The Awesome Ukelele Academy for helping me achieve something on my bucket list

I think the most important part of learning something new is the teacher then the way you are taught Matt is an excellent tutor he's patient and is happy to answer the same questions asked 10 times over and I would highly recommend this ukulele accelerator course for quick and slow learners (like myself)
